Nguyen Huu Phuoc established TLS, a small law office located at 82 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with only one staff; |

1/2004 |
TLS merged with LuatViet Legal Consultants, a well-known litigation and corporate law office in Ho Chi Minh City; |

1/2005 |
Nguyen Huu Phuoc was appointed to be Managing Partner of LuatViet Legal Consultants; |

5/2006 |
Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Christian Brendel (a German lawyer) and Nguyen Gia Huy Chuong have jointly set up a new partnership under the name of Phuoc & Partners and Nguyen Huu Phuoc and Christian Brendel are Chairman and Managing Partner respectively; |

Pham Quoc Tuan joined the partnership, Phuoc & Partners then opened the branch office in Hanoi and the opened the litigation practice and Pham Quoc Tuan is in charge of this practice. The Danang branch office was opened at the same time and Pham Quoc Tuan was the branch head; |

Christian Brendel left Phuoc & Partners and set up his own law firm namely Brendel & Associates and Nguyen Gia Huy Chuong has been appointed as Managing Partner while the chairman position is still with Nguyen Huu Phuoc. Truong My Ly is voted to be the new partner of the partnership in charge of the operation of the Hanoi branch; |

Dinh Quang Thuan joined the firm from Vilaf Hong Duc and was officially promoted to Partner in 12/2008 and is together with Pham Quoc Tuan to be in charge of the litigation practice. |
B. 2010s (the reputation of the firm grow as the practices of tax, labour & employment and real estates are recognized as leading ones in Vietnam)

Tran Thanh Tung (senior associate) is promoted to be the new partner in charge of the Inbound Investment Practice and is appointed to be head of the Danang branch; |

5/2012 |
Two doctors of law i.e. Phan Ngoc Tam and Vuong Thanh Thuy have joined the firm as associates to increase the academic knowledge for lawyers. They are law lecturers at the Ho Chi Minh City Law University and the Hanoi Law University respectively; |

Phuoc & Partners opened the Intellectual Property Practice and welcomed Nguyen Duc Hieu as a new partner in charge of this practice who used to be Hanoi branch head of Rouse Legal (a UK-based-law firm); |
