After graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law in 2007, Ms. Tu Duy began working for Vilaf – Hong Duc, a leading law firm in Ho Chi Minh City, specializing in tax, labour and employment and security transactions until the end of 2008.
From 2009 to date, Ms.Tu Duy has been working for P&P and involved in a large number of cases in a variety of legal fields, including civil, family, labour employment, tax, real estate, corporate governance and other business and commercial issues. As relating to the mentioned legal fields, Ms. Tu Duy acted as one of the leading litigators of the litigation team and has extensive experience working with various dispute resolution agencies and other state authorities to resolve related disagreements effectively.
In 2015, in recognition of her positive and effective contributions and in order to improve her work performance, Ms. Tu Duy was supported by Phuoc & Partners to finish her postgraduate course at Anglia Ruskin University (England) with a merit degree of Master of Laws, majoring in International Commercial Law.
Since her promotion to a Senior Associate position in 2017, Ms. Tu Duy has proven her excellent performance in leadership and dedication while in turn positively influencing her staff’s teamwork and energy. She consistently brings her extensive expertise in dispute resolution and expertise in prolonged judicial proceedings.
Ms. Tu Duy has more than ten years of experience advising Vietnamese and international clients on their commercial and business needs; delivering innovative ways to minimize the risk of disputes, the threat of disputes, and to handle matters. Ms. Tu Duy is currently serving as a visiting lecturer at Judicial Academy and has been a keynote speaker at many legal seminars. Regarding the publication works, she is an author for many legal magazine articles and is also the co-author of the book namely: Lawyer Handbook published by the Lawyer Federation of Vietnam in 2018.
In addition, Ms. Tu Duy had the honor of contributing a chapter regarding Vietnam in an update to the publication “Transnational Litigation Guide”, December 2017. As published by Thomson Reuters, the most recent guide offers a comprehensive overview and detailed analysis of litigation procedures as well as an insight into the tactical, substantive, and procedural issues of the Serbian Litigation system along with more than 27 other major legal systems.
