Part I of this Legal Newsletter introduces a legal article titled”Why still on probation while having been trained?” written by Lawyer Duong Tieng Thu and paralegal Hoang Phuoc. In this article, we start with a real-life situation.The article then focuses on a discussion of two opinions in the application of legal regulations on career training and probation after an employee has completed a training program in an enterprise. From that, the authors wish to have more specific guidance to fix the inconsistent understanding and application of a provision to ensure employees’ rights and obligations are upheld.
In Part II, we would like to provide you with some remarkable regulations as follows:

- Guidelines on converting public service units into joint stock companies
