Our Part I of this Legal Newsletter introduces the legal article “Going So Far As To Ban Tax Debtors From Exiting Vietnam” by our Paralegal Pham Thi Hien as published on 20 June, 2019 in the Sai Gon Economic Times. The author has analyzed a number of current legal provisions relating to cases where tax debtors are banned from exiting Vietnam, the authority to prohibit the exit of tax debtors and how the application actually happens in practice. The author then points out the inconsistent provisions that may put at legal risk the agency applying the exit bans on tax debtors.
In Part II, we would like to provide you with some remarkable regulations as follows:
- New regulations on managing operations of vehicles for water entertainment and recreation;
- Some subjects to be entitled to increases in pension, social insurance and monthly allowances; and
- Ministry of transport providing guidelines on preparation of feasibility study reports on investment projects in the form of public-private partnership under the field of transport.
Apart from the above, as usual, our Part III will provide you with a selected list of new regulations issued in June 2019 for your further reference.
We hope this Newsletter is of use to you. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us through our email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
